His style is one of those that I fell in love with as soon as I saw it. His web portfolio might be a little bit difficult to navigate. But it hardly matters for some big fans like me.
Raymond Biesinger is a self-taught illustrator based in Montreal, Canada, who spent a very long time in that country’s west. He likes concepts, making music, progressive politics and a curious mix of minimalism and maximalism. He deploys physical things, electronic means, and a BA in European and North American political history to make his images, and has done so since the year 2000 in over 1000 projects on four continents. Since May of 2008 he has accompanied bestselling author and social economist Tim Harford weekly in the Financial Times’Weekend magazine, and as of March of 2012 he also accompanied the esteemed funny guy Patton Oswalt on the last page of SPIN. Raymond is currently self-represented in all regions of the world, so please inquire directly.
